Ugandan musician Moses Ssekibogo popular known as Mowzey Radio has died in a hospital in Kampala, Uganda.

Radio of the dynamic duo Radio & Weasel passed away on Thursday morning. He was admitted in hospital about ten days ago after being reportedly beaten into a coma. His 33rd birthday found him in hospital on the 25th of January.
The President of Uganda was saddened by the news of Radio’s death. Two days ago he had just donated a huge amount of money towards Radio’s medical bills. There was also #PrayForRadio service which was supposed to take place this coming Sunday organised by Weasel (Douglas Mayanja) and their management.
“He was a talented young person with a great future ahead of him. May he rest in peace,” President Museveni said on Twitter.

Since 2008, the East Africa’s dynamic duo has been producing music under their Label Goodlyfe Music Group. Radio and Weasel have seen success in Uganda and across Africa, attracting numerous collaborations with other musicians such as American rapper Snoop Dogg, South African artists such PJ Powers and Locnville, Nigeria’s Wizkid, Vannesa Mdee from Tanzania, the King of the Dancehall Beanie Man from Jamaica and many others.
The duo boasts with many accolades in Uganda, and they have also been recognised internationally receiving nominations in the 2013 BET Music Awards – Best International Act Africa and in the MTV Africa Music Awards 2014 for best collaboration.
Since the news of his passing announced, colleagues in the industry, fans and friends have taken to social media to pay tribute to the fallen star.
