Sandisiwe Lisa Ntonga popular known as “Lisa Good” has launched herself as a Pop/Electronica singer and she’s ready to take South Africa and the world by storm.
The singer who hails from Lamontville in KwaZulu Natal recently hosted the media at Melrose Arch in Johannesburg for her album launch.
Lisa’s talent was spotted at an early age, she began writing songs at the tender age of six and her musical prowess did not stop there; she went on to sing the lead in her church choir at age eight with her siblings. She later joined a rap group.
Signed under Xhentsa Entertainment, Lisa has released an album titled “Happy World”. The album boasts with songs such as “Fun”, Red Hat”, “Leyade” and “Impossible Love”. Lisa’s music is happy just like her personality.
Speaking to Afri411 during her launch she said her music is for everyone, it is feel good music. “I think everyone can relate to my music, from a young person right to the mature audience. It is music you want to listen to when want to feel good about life,” Lisa said.
She might be seen as a newbie but Lisa has achieved quite a few things in her music career. She received an invite to participate in the Coast 2 Coast Live Music Showcase in New York, where she was put against acts from all over the globe even managing a 3rd place finish. She was also featured on Coke Studio where she was requested to record two songs, one of which became the title song for the show. The song is titled ‘What Comes Around’ performed with the up and coming artist Bergie Fresh. The other song is titled ‘Spread A Little Love’ which she performed with rapper Ricky Rick, Monark and Maxwell Vidima.
